String 1 EP is a new release from TJ Mori on Benice Recordings (pronounced venice) available right now! The title track, String 1 is a throwback, hard hitting early days of DC10! Homage to Kerri Chandler and Dan Ghenacia, Tania Vulcano and rest of Minimal Tech House gang! Terrace extravaganza! As usual, the ingredients are all the same: phat drums, sub basses to shake the earth from here to Jupiter, and deep chords to follow. Easy does it. The follow up track: Big Thoughts, Small Hands is a tech inspired oasis of atmospheric beats. Following in the steps of the likes like: Satoshi Tommie, Ame and Dixon, TJ creates the groove, euphoric pads and melodies that take imagination to a better simpler times. All of this elevating creates the mood, the atmosphere that transcends the listener to a tech-house-soul heaven. Brilliant! All in all, another solid release from Tj Mori.

We’re super excited about this new release. It has all the right ingredients: soul, feeling and fine production. Check, check and once more. Check. A two track EP has enough weight to transition us smoothly into warm days of summer. A craziness of the last couple of months doesn’t seem to stop TJ’s creative outlets much. Unaccountable devastation and tragedy around the world. The economy almost brought to a stand still. And yet. It is not over. We are in the middle of something right now historians will look upon years from now and wonder How in the world did they survive all this?

Like balloons in the air it is a time of uncertainty…

So let’s look and examine what leaders around the world are doing to prevent the further destruction, and are stopping more havoc from coming about. Regardless of what any of the world leaders are doing it is up to us to bounce back and bring back the normal whatever that might have been. Perhaps out of this time we’re experiencing right now, something more peaceful and harmonious can come about. Perhaps it will.
